Esser Plaza Revitalization

South Side Community Council is working to revitalize Esser Plaza to be a welcoming, open space where the community can gather. We have partnered with Engineers without Borders Pittsburgh Chapter to move the project forward an enhanced design, construction documents, and required approvals.

A wide team of community members/residents, in partnership with the South Side Community Council, are proposing:
the creation of ten public murals throughout the South Side Flats, to celebrate the vibrant history and culture of the neighborhood.
